

Level 1 (500-3.1)
Any person who has obtained a minimum full-time one-year qualification from an accredited educational institution in the field of Interior Decoration, and a minimum of 2 years practical experience, and who has satisfied the National Council of their professional competence and suitability and by compliance with the competencies for the registration category as set out in the application form.
Level 2 (500-3.2 RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Any person who has obtained a form of qualification from an unaccredited educational institution in the field of Interior Decoration, and a minimum of 5 years practical experience, and who has satisfied the National Council of their professional competence and suitability and by compliance with the competencies for the registration category as set out in the application form.
Level 3 (500-3.1 RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Any person who has obtained a NO form of qualification from an educational institution in the field of Interior Decoration, and a minimum of 10 years practical experience, and who has satisfied the National Council of their professional competence and suitability and by compliance with the competencies for the registration category as set out in the application form.
Level 1 (600-3.1)
Any person who has obtained a minimum full-time three-year degree (NQF 7) or diploma (NQF 6) from an accredited educational institution in the field of Interior Design and a minimum of two years practical experience after the degree and three years practical experience after the diploma, and who has satisfied the National Council of their professional competence and suitability and by compliance with the competencies for the registration category as set out in the application form.
